About Us

Providence Family Dentistry has digital x-rays and intra-oral cameras. This allows the patients to see inside their mounths. They see what we see. We have a panoramic x-ray unit that gives us a detail picture of upper and lower jaw bones. We also do oral cancer screenings, blood pressure checks, and perio probe for periodontal disease, etc.

Tampa L. Rhodes, DMD - I am from Southwest Atlanta and have been practicing dentistry for nine years. I graduated from Spelman College, and received my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia. I am a member of Word of Faith Family Worship Center, where I interpret for the hearing impaired and I’m bilingual. I have memberships with the Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Hinman Dental Society Study Club. I really enjoy what I do for a living. People who have had a bad dental experience visit our office and feel better about going to the dentist. We listen to our patient’s concerns and provide gentle dental care.
